Funding our Runway families is the primary focus of our organization. We believe there are tangible ways to make a difference in the lives of children who have lost a mother to breast cancer by paying for wrap-around services for the family. Because of the incredible support of those in attendance at our Virtual Runway Show in October, we raised $293K! Because of you, we can continue to assist families and children who have applied to our Family Grants Program. It was May of 2018, and Dorothy was nursing her infant while her two-year-old was playing with toy trucks at her feet. Dorothy noticed a lumpy area in her left breast. On a warm July night in 2007, I was at Fenway Park, watching the Red Sox with my friend Taylor Blaisdell, who owned a boutique in Concord, MA, chatting about a way to honor my mom’s breast cancer journey.
