Anne Bunn, Survivor since 2011 “R4R celebrates and honors families that have been impacted by cancer. R4R takes an ugly topic, one that we often try to bury and forget, and shows the bright side. Through the event, our family is reminded that cancer is just part of our story, something we went through but that does not define who we are. My kids see that we’re not in this alone. It is such a treasured night for our family.”

Meet the Models: Kim Bramante

Kim Bramante, Survivor since 1996 Walking with daughters Vanessa Bramante, Stephanie Bramante, and Kristina Bramante. So far Kristina has had genetic testing. She tested positive and had a double mastectomy in January 2016. My other two girls will also be tested. I have 2 sisters: Nancy Fullerton 20-year survivor. We were both diagnosed the same year. My other sister, Kathy Audette, sadly passed away in 2005. She battled breast and ovarian cancer.

Meet the Models: Malissa Wood

Malissa Wood, a survivor since 2006. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 43 in Dec 2006.  I was very healthy, no family history and we were a bit blindsided by the diagnosis.  I was a single Mom with four children at the time ages 6,8,10 and 12.  I am a cardiologist at MGH and see everyday the toll cancer can take on the patients and their families.  I was so impressed that my doctors and nurses spent time talking with me about the impact of my diagnosis on my family.  That really helped us get through the first…
