When Monique was diagnosed with breast cancer at just 27 years old, it came out of nowhere. She had no family history. She found the lump herself. “I was completely shocked. I never imagined breast cancer would happen to me at such a young age.”

Before her own diagnosis, Sabrina spent her career as a Physician Assistant in oncology. She diagnosed cancer, discussed treatment options, and supported patients through the hardest moments of their lives.
I am a breast cancer survivor. I was diagnosed while living in Hawaii at age 30. My partner and I made the decision to move back to the east coast for my treatment to be closer to family and to have access to higher quality medical care and clinical trials. What makes this year special? In February I celebrated 5 years of remission!
