By Caroline O'Donnell | September 27, 2016

Amy Field, Survivor first diagnosed in 2009   Runway has provided me…”us” – with a platform to share our stories in a safe, empowering, and beautiful way. Runway for Recovery exemplifies, in such a unique way, the strength of women, motherhood, friendship, and community. Meet the Models: Angel Santos Burres

By Caroline O'Donnell | September 26, 2016

Angel Santos Burres, Survivor since 2012 When I look at old pictures of myself, I sometimes think about what cancer took from me: innocence, a sense of immortality, faith in my future, trust in my health.  When I look at the pictures from Runway, I think about what cancer has given me: resilience, community, joie de vivre, mindfulness, grace, perspective, and a greater appreciation of my body, family, spouse, children, friends and of life itself.

Meet the Models: Susan Gally

By Caroline O'Donnell | September 7, 2016

Susan Gally, Survivor since 2015 I attended my first Runway for Recovery in 2011.  In 2014, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.  I never dreamed it could be me, yet I found great inspiration and support from having watched the amazing women and their families in previous Runway for Recovery shows.  I am grateful for Olivia’s amazing vision and her tireless dedication to create an event that supports families impacted by breast cancer.  I am walking to honor those who have helped me, those who have fought the battle and those who might one day need strength and support.
