Jennifer Lubrano Clayton was born and raised in Hingham, MA. After a few years living away, she returned to Hingham with her husband Mark and bought the home next door to her parents where she was a stay-at-home mom to her three children, Zach, Ellie, and Matt. Though she wishes she had had a career, she has had so much joy in raising three amazing children and now seeing her three grandchildren grow up. Read More »Susan Burke, RN, MSN, is returning to advocacy work following her forty year career as both a pediatric nurse and case manager at Shriner’s Hospital for Children, Boston, Massachusetts. While at Shriner’s, Sue nurtured and developed her passion around assisting children and their families in finding ways forward following trauma. She is thrilled to capitalize on her experience by advocating for Runway for Recovery families and is truly honored to be a part of the Runway community. Read More »Dorothy Kelly Burnham is a lifelong Massachusetts resident, and currently lives in Newburyport with her husband and two children. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018 after finding a lump while nursing her infant son. After undergoing breast cancer treatment, Dorothy was introduced to Runway for Recovery by attending a Rally for Runway spin class at Fuel Training Studio in Newburyport. Dorothy has fundraised and volunteered for Runway organization since that time. Read More »Rachael Asselin has been interested in the intersection between science and helping people since she was little. This interest grew stronger after her mother’s breast cancer diagnosis and unsuccessful treatment attempts when Rachael was 12 (she passed away when she was 14). Initially pre-med in college, Rachael ended up getting a degree in public health instead of going the direct patient-care route. Rachael worked at Biogen in Cambridge, MA for 15 years, after which she began consulting for a wide range of biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Read More »Lillian Beck’s mother, Noreen Beck, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer in 1998 and quickly became immersed in the breast cancer charity community for 10 years until her passing. From young ages, Lilly and her brother watched her mom walk and take on major fundraising efforts for Relay for Life, Avon 3-Day 60-Mile Breast Cancer Walk and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in Boston. Lilly’s mom with three close friends started a 3-day 60-mile breast cancer walk of their own called Just ‘Cause.
