Meet the Models: Pamela Buselli
Pamela Buselli
My name is Pamela Breckenridge Buselli. I am an active flight attendant for Delta Airlines, married , and mother of one married son . I am deeply honored to be part of this important program that recognizes the survivors of Breast Cancer disease and continues to work toward a cure.
My personal story began on my 60th birthday (September 12th) three years ago when I was diagnosed with early stage invasive breast cancer following a routine annual mammogram. Our family had previously prepared for a trip to a small fishing village in Sicily to celebrate the birthday event and my son and his fiancée had secretly planned to meet me, my husband, and two airline colleagues in Palermo.
Acting on the assurances from the doctors that the cancer and subsequent treatment could wait two weeks, we enjoyed the trip with confidence and I returned home refreshed and energized to begin the long journey of treatment .
Under the caring hands of Dr. John Erban , head of oncology at Tuft’s Medical Center, I met my clinical team and moved quickly and methodically through the surgeries and radiation.
The unsurpassed warmth and care provided by the entire Tufts team will remain with me forever and each birthday since then is always a special and happy one because of their expertise and support.
