Lillian Beck’s mother, Noreen Beck, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer in 1998 and quickly became immersed in the breast cancer charity community for 10 years until her passing. From young ages, Lilly and her brother watched her mom walk and take on major fundraising efforts for Relay for Life, Avon 3-Day 60-Mile Breast Cancer Walk and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in Boston. Lilly’s mom with three close friends started a 3-day 60-mile breast cancer walk of their own called Just ‘Cause. After our successful growth to Southern California last year, NYC felt like the perfect third location as it is home to one of our longest serving champions.
