Ways to Give

We are a small team capable of making a big difference, but our impact is reliant on the support and generosity of those who believe in our mission. Help us to continue to aid and benefit families who need it most by supporting Runway today.

Support Families. Fundraise With Purpose.

Runway for Recovery provides critical financial and emotional support to families navigating life after the loss of a guardian to breast cancer and/or a metastatic diagnosis. Now, you can help fund that mission—your way.

Whether you're honoring a loved one, gathering your community, or simply passionate about the cause, our Supporter Fundraising Incentive Program is your chance to make a difference.

Raise funds anytime between now and June 30, 2026, and receive exclusive Runway thank-you gifts along the way:

Play a Breast Cancer Awareness Game and Make an Impact

Our program includes a virtual or in-person presentation by a Runway Team member that will educate your players about both breast cancer and the work that we do at Runway. We also provide teams with a fundraising page, a social media post highlighting your efforts, and swag to wear at the game. We want students and players to know why they are wearing pink and how their fundraising can make a difference today in the life of a patient or family. We educate your community about breast cancer and then cheer you on as you honor those impacted by breast cancer.

Download our Play for Runway guide so that you can let your school, team, or club know more about our program.

A Boutique Give-Back Series Benefiting Families Affected by Breast Cancer

Love for Runway is a national series of boutique-led fundraising events designed to support families navigating the unimaginable: a terminal or metastatic breast cancer diagnosis or the loss of a parent to the disease.

Runway for Recovery partners with small businesses and retail brands to host Sip, Shop & Support style events where a portion of proceeds from a designated day goes directly toward our mission to provide financial and emotional support to families facing an unimaginable diagnosis or loss.

Whether you are a storefront in New England, New York, New Jersey, a coastal boutique in Southern California, or a brand with a story to share, your participation helps fund essential services like groceries, tutoring, summer camp, grief counseling, and legal support for families across the country.

How it works:

  • You select a date to host a give-back event at your store
  • A percentage of sales from that day supports Runway for Recovery
  • We provide promotional materials and signage to make setup simple — including Runway branded canvas totes for customers to “earn” with purchases over $150 if you think you and other shops will raise $2500+
  • A member of our team can optionally attend to share a local story or speak briefly about the impact

This is a simple and meaningful way to connect with your community and make a difference while honoring the women, families, and caregivers who inspire our work.

October Partnerships

Does your business plan to do something for breast cancer awareness month in October? Over the years businesses have sold speciality items, hosted shopping events, or given back a % of sales to Runway, and we would love to add you to this year’s efforts. Some of our most loyal and generous brands are Native Candle, Lilibridge, Shit That I Knit, Poppies with Purpose, Garden Remedies, Freshwater Pearl, and Charleston and Coco. It would be such an honor to have your business support our work.

The Linda K. Cohen Fund

Runway for Recovery knows that education has the potential to be truly life-changing, and we are thrilled to share that we are now able to accept donations, including donations of stock, to this restricted tuition fund to support some of the highest-need children that we serve. Emily’s vision for the Linda K. Cohen Tuition Fund is that it will grow large enough to help every Runway beneficiary who needs it. Together, we can make a real and lasting difference in the lives of bereaved children.
