Ingrid Tucker: Deputy Director, Madison Park Development Corporation

Dr. Ingrid Tucker is the Deputy Director at Madison Park Development Corporation (MPDC) in Roxbury, Massachusetts. She joined MPDC in July 2021 after serving 30 years in education. Dr. Tucker is responsible for leading the Programs at Madison Park. In addition to the programs, she works closely with a dynamic team from the Dewitt Center, Hibernian Hall, and Program Directors who are leading the way for youth and residents in and beyond Roxbury. Prior to joining MPDC, Dr. Tucker was the Head of Cambridge Montessori School in Cambridge (CMS), Massachusetts. Prior to joining the Cambridge Montessori community, Dr. Tucker served as President of Mother Caroline Academy and Education Center (MCAEC) in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Prior to leading MCAEC, Dr. Tucker was the former Middle School Director and Assistant Head of School at Beaver Country Day School in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts for seven years. She was Director of Admissions at the Atrium School for two years before joining Beaver Country Day School.

Dr. Tucker currently serves on several boards. She is the Board Chair for The Center of Women in Politics and Public Policy (CPPP) at UMass Boston, she is on the Board for the Greater Boston Food Bank, she serves on The Catholic Schools Foundation Board, St. John Paul Catholic School in Dorchester, Schooling for Hope, and she is a member of the Cardinal’s Advisory Board. She has also served on the Board of Trustees at AISNE for nine years and served as Treasurer for three years. She was a member of the AISNE Membership Team for four years (Accreditation). Dr. Tucker was also a board member for the Montessori Schools of Massachusetts, the Cambridge School of Weston, the Board of Trustees at Chapel Hill Chauncy Hall School in Waltham, Dedham Country Day School, Boston Evening and Day Academy, Marynundo School for Girls in Rwanda, and was the former Board Chair for Fellowship Christian Church in Boston. Dr. Tucker and her husband Phillip are the co-founders and Pastors of Awaken Christian Church. She is a native of Boston and is a die-hard New England sports fan. She enjoys traveling, writing and spending time with friends and family.
