The Runway Show, New England
Our largest event of the year is the annual Runway Show that celebrates those who are fighting, remembers those who have passed, and inspires us to support those who have been impacted by breast cancer. This is not your typical fashion show—it is a night for all of us to redefine this disease, for us to connect and support one another, and most importantly, to dance in honor of all those impacted by breast cancer.
The 17th annual Runway Show, New England was held on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at The Westin Seaport Hotel in Boston. Watch the 2023 show and save the date for October 25, 2024 for our 18th annual Runway Show.
Rally For Runway
Join local wellness communities and ride, run, rally, pose, or even dance for Runway. Spin, yoga, running, and other workout studios around New England are rallying together by hosting fundraisers for Runway and raising awareness about who we fund and our mission. Book a spot for one of these events and 100% of your ticket price goes directly to Runway for Recovery.
Do you have a suggestion for a location to host a Rally event? Email Jessie Reardon at email@example.com to learn more.
The Runway Show, Southern California
That's right—we brought our annual Runway Show to Southern California!
We celebrated with our California models and expanded our reach to support families in Orange County that have been impacted by breast cancer.
As it is in Boston, it was a night of celebration, a night of remembrance, and a night of dancing.
The 2nd Annual Runway Show, Southern California will be held on January 27, 2024 in Tustin, CA.
Love Local is a night to love on those impacted by breast cancer and support the local businesses that we all adore. It was a night to sip, shop, and support Runway for Recovery. We heard from those in our community who have been affected by the disease and raised money for the R4R Family Grants program. Love Local dates for 2024 will be announced soon.
Run for Runway 5K
This family-friendly event was held on Saturday, May 13, 2023—Mother's Day weekend. We intentionally chose this weekend so we could honor the parents who have passed from breast cancer and celebrate those who are still here.
The event was held in Abington, MA and the race will started and ended at the Woodsdale School. All funds raised went toward the Linda K. Cohen Tuition Fund for our Family Grants program.
Playing for Pink
Playing for Pink
Throughout the year, Runway for Recovery is partnering with school teams across the country to host a "Playing for Pink" game. We’d love to count you in!
Runway for Recovery provides a continuum of support for families impacted by breast cancer. Your sports teams can join in the effort to fund local children whose caregiver is a Stage IV metastatic patient or whose caregiver has passed away from the disease.
Our program includes a virtual or in-person presentation by a Runway Team member, a fundraising page and tips/ideas, a social media post in support of your efforts, and swag to wear at the game depending on your level of fundraising commitment. Interested? Download this information guide, R4R Play for Pink and then send us an email: firstname.lastname@example.org or fill out our online form.
The Recovery Retreat
Thank you for attending!
Any model who has ever walked down the Runway in our annual, cornerstone Runway for Recovery event, The Runway Show, is invited to attend our Model Recovery Retreat. This year, we held our retreat at The Alnoba Retreat Center in Kensington, NH.
At the retreat, we hope to give Runway models a chance to look deeper into their chapter associated with breast cancer and give you the tools to begin or continue to recover from it. This Recovery Retreat will hopefully leave you feeling appreciated, heard, and gifted the opportunity to rewrite how you view your journey if needed.
The retreat application will open in early 2024. All models who complete the form will be considered for a spot at the retreat.
