Play for Runway: Newburyport Field Hockey

On October 14, Newburyport Field Hockey will celebrate its 6th year Playing for Runway.
This one is especially meaningful to us. Head Coach Shannon Haley was one of the first coaches to reach out to Runway for Recovery about getting her team involved when we were building the Play for Runway program. Six years later, Newburyport Field Hockey continues to show up year after year, bringing players, families, and the Newburyport community together to support families impacted by breast cancer.

This year, the team will once again raise funds for Runway for Recovery, a nonprofit providing meaningful financial and emotional support to families impacted by breast cancer. Rather than a traditional fundraising page, Newburyport Field Hockey will be selling raffle tickets, with proceeds benefiting Runway families. PURCHASE RAFFLE TICKETS
Runway believes that breast cancer never impacts just one person. Through Family Grants, emotional support, and community, Runway helps families navigating metastatic breast cancer and the loss of a parent with the everyday needs that keep a family moving forward.
