Play for Runway: Natick High School Girls’ Volleyball

On October 6, Natick Girls Volleyball is playing for something bigger.
This year’s Play for Runway game is especially meaningful to the Natick community as the team celebrates Ms. LaWanda X. Woumnm, Natick High School’s Front Office Administrative Assistant and Receptionist, who has completed treatment for breast cancer.
The Natick Girls Volleyball team is coming together to raise funds for Runway for Recovery, a nonprofit providing meaningful financial and emotional support to families impacted by breast cancer.
Runway believes that breast cancer never impacts just one person. Through Family Grants, emotional support, and community, Runway helps families navigating metastatic breast cancer and the loss of a parent with the everyday needs that keep a family moving forward.
