What does walking the Runway mean to you?

For Maria McGravey, walking the Runway is an honor that means more than words can express.

As a breast cancer survivor, Maria knows how much a diagnosis can change your life.

“My cancer journey has changed me in so many ways,” she shares. “It tested my faith, my strength, challenged my spirit and taught me the true meaning of resilience.”

Her experience has shaped the way she sees herself and what it means to keep moving forward through difficult moments.

 

Why is supporting Runway important to you?

For Maria, participating in Runway is also an opportunity to give back.

As she prepares to walk the stage, she is raising funds to support families impacted by breast cancer.

“Any donation, big or small, would mean so much to me and help make a difference for those impacted with breast cancer,” Maria says.

She hopes her participation can help bring strength to others navigating their own experiences.

This year, we are celebrating Maria's survivorship and the resilience she has found through her experience with breast cancer.

We are honoring the challenges she has faced and the meaning this moment holds for her.

Most of all, we are celebrating Maria's desire to use her story to help others.
