Susan Burke: Retired, RN, MSN

Susan Burke, RN, MSN, is returning to advocacy work following her forty year career as both a pediatric nurse and case manager at Shriner’s Hospital for Children, Boston, Massachusetts. While at Shriner’s, Sue nurtured and developed her passion around assisting children and their families in finding ways forward following trauma. She is thrilled to capitalize on her experience by advocating for Runway for Recovery families and is truly honored to be a part of the Runway community.

Originally from Swampscott, she currently resides in Charlestown where she enjoys time with her children and four granddaughters. Sue has been a loyal participant in the Pan-Mass Challenge, riding for the past ten years, and is also an avid swimmer and skier.
