Runway for Recovery Joins the Boston Marathon® Charity Program

We are thrilled to share exciting news: for the first time ever, Runway for Recovery has been awarded four entries into the 130th Boston Marathon® presented by Bank of America through the 2026 Bank of America Boston Marathon® Official Charity Program!

This milestone couldn’t come at a more meaningful time — 2026 marks Runway’s 20th anniversary. What better way to celebrate than by running one of the world’s most iconic races, carrying our mission and community with us every step of the way?

Why We Run

Our Boston Marathon® team will raise vital funds to support families navigating life after a metastatic breast cancer diagnosis. Each runner will train, fundraise, and cross the finish line not only for themselves, but for the hundreds of families Runway stands beside every year.
