Play for Runway: Trevor Day School

This October, Trevor Day School is once again turning its athletic fields and courts pink for Play for Runway!
Students across Trevor’s athletic program will be dedicating games to Runway for Recovery, raising funds and awareness for families navigating metastatic breast cancer and the loss of a parent. What begins with two games in early October will grow throughout the month as teams across the school join the effort.
The first Play for Runway games are:
- October 6 — 7th/8th Grade Girls Fire Volleyball
- October 13 — JV Girls Tennis
Additional games are being planned for Varsity Tennis, Varsity Soccer, JV Soccer, Cross-Country, Middle School Soccer and Track, with the goal of bringing the entire Trevor athletics community together for Play for Runway.
Trevor students have already made an incredible impact through this partnership, raising nearly $6,000 for Runway for Recovery. This year, Lily and Hannah Kazanoff are carrying that effort forward, giving their classmates an opportunity to turn Breast Cancer Awareness Month into meaningful action for families who need it.
At each game, students will have the opportunity to play in honor or memory of someone impacted by breast cancer while raising funds that provide tangible support for Runway families — helping with needs like groceries, housing, transportation, childcare and other everyday expenses during an extraordinarily difficult time.
