Play for Runway: Newburyport Volleyball
October 15
Newburyport, MA
Newburyport Volleyball is Playing for Runway!
On October 15, Newburyport Volleyball will Play for Runway for the second year — joining teams across Newburyport High School as part of a fall tradition that has grown far beyond a single game or sport.
This fall, Newburyport athletes across soccer, cheer, football, field hockey, and volleyball are coming together to Play for Runway, using the sports they love to support families impacted by breast cancer.
For Newburyport Volleyball, this will be their second year taking part. The team will play in honor of the people in their own lives who have been impacted by breast cancer while raising funds for Runway for Recovery.
Runway believes that breast cancer never impacts just one person. Through Family Grants, emotional support, and community, Runway helps families navigating metastatic breast cancer and the loss of a parent with the everyday needs that keep a family moving forward.
What we love most about Play for Runway in Newburyport is seeing more teams choose to become part of it each year. What began with individual coaches and athletes wanting to make a difference has grown into a community-wide effort, with students across different sports showing up for another family.
Join us on October 15, cheer on Newburyport Volleyball, and help us celebrate their second year Playing for Runway — and an incredible fall of Newburyport athletes coming together for Runway.
