Play for Runway: Imperial Middle School

This October, the entire Imperial Middle School community is Playing for Runway!

Students, families, and staff are coming together throughout the month to raise funds for Runway for Recovery and support families impacted by breast cancer. Imperial is turning Breast Cancer Awareness Month into a school-wide effort, with a classroom fundraising competition, proceeds from the snack shack at home volleyball and flag football games, a local dine-out event, marquee shoutouts, and more opportunities for students to get involved.

Runway for Recovery provides meaningful financial and emotional support to families navigating metastatic breast cancer or the passing of a parent from breast cancer. Through its Family Grants Program, Runway helps cover real expenses that keep families moving forward — from rent and groceries to therapy, summer camp, sports, dance, music lessons, and other extracurricular activities for children.

Every contribution from the Imperial community will help Runway provide that support to families who need it.
