Meet the Models: Angel Santos Burres

When I look at old pictures of myself, I sometimes think about what cancer took from me: innocence, a sense of immortality, faith in my future, trust in my health.  When I look at the pictures from Runway, I think about what cancer has given me: resilience, community, joie de vivre, mindfulness, grace, perspective, and a greater appreciation of my body, family, spouse, children, friends and of life itself.
