Abby Gordon: Principal and Owner, Two Eight Four Weddings & Events

Abby Gordon is Principal and Owner at Two Eight Four Weddings & Events, an event planning firm based in Boston. She was “raised” in the event planning industry by my incredibly talented and successful mother, Linda Matzkin, and spent several years working both for and with her. With a passion for creating unforgettable experiences, Abby believes that she will bring her creativity and expertise to a board position at Runway For Recovery, particularly in working on the Runway events. Outside of work, Abby enjoys indulging in my hobbies of volunteerism, travel, reading and exercise. She is a life-long resident of Newton and you can find her walking along the carriage lane on Commonwealth Avenue daily! She is a devoted wife and mother to a 20-year old daughter, a junior in college, attending Boston University (and a part-time walking companion to her along the Charles River).
