Play for Runway: The Rivers School, Volleyball

The Rivers School is back for its second year of Play for Runway—and this year, they are going BIG!
Led by students Quincy and Talia and the Rivers Cancer Awareness Club, the school is bringing together its fall athletic teams for a series of Play for Runway games benefiting Runway for Recovery. Volleyball is kicking things off, with teams across Rivers joining throughout the fall to raise funds and awareness for families impacted by breast cancer.
And there’s a little friendly competition involved! Each participating Rivers team will have its own fundraising page, with every dollar counting toward both the team’s total and the overall Rivers School campaign. At the end, we’ll see which team can raise the most for Runway families.
The Rivers Volleyball Team will host its Play for Runway game on Friday, September 18. The 11 athletes will take the court representing something bigger than the game: a school community coming together to support families navigating breast cancer.
