Come out for a night to sip\, shop\, and support Runway for Recovery. \nWe are honored to have Alivia Collette talk about the impact that her mother’s breast cancer diagnosis has had on her life\, and Amy Burke speak about her current breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. Both of their stories will surely leave us inspired. \nThis year\, there will be a special kid-focused part of the day called “Love for Mom” on Inn Street from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. It is a time for kids to grab cute and personalized gifts for Mom!  \n\nLive painting with G.S. Chaisson (20 spots available\, ticket required)\nQuickie photograph with Plum + Port Photography and Frame Decorating with Pinwheels (20 spots available\, ticket required)\nPersonalize Stanley cups\, and more.\nBuy Flowers from Amy McLaughlin flower cart\nGrab a Joppa Pot from local vendor\nFace Painting\nGames\nShop around town at all of the supporting businesses who are donating to R4R (see list below)\n\nAt 6:30 p.m. Inn Street becomes the ticketed event\, Love Local. Launched in New England in 2005\, more than $4.25 Million has been raised through GFC’s Golf Marathon\, with $830\,000 raised in 2023 by golfers representing 14 nonprofits. \nRunway for Recovery receives 100% of the funds raised by their golfers. \nWhat is required to participate?  \n\n$3\,000 per individual golfer\n$1\,500 per junior golfer (25 years old & under)\n\nGolf Fights Cancer covers all expenses related to the event – including cost of golf\, donation transaction fees\, food & beverage\, registration gifts & prizes\nGolf Fights Cancer provides all golfers with a fundraising page and resources to support their crowdfunding efforts – including an event newsletter and individual coaching\n\n\n\nWho Plays?  \n\nGolfers of all skill levels – from those who play only a few times a season to scratch golfers\nGolfers of all ages – over the years participants have ranged from elementary school aged through retirees\nGolfers who have been impacted by cancer\, either personally or through a family member/friend\, and are\npassionate about making a difference\n\nHow can you play 100 holes in one day? \n\nThis is not a day to shoot a personal best\, in fact\, golfers will not be keeping score\nHoles aren’t necessarily played in sequence.
