Launched in New England in 2005\, more than $4.25 Million has been raised through GFC’s Golf Marathon\, with $830\,000 raised in 2023 by golfers representing 14 nonprofits. \nRunway for Recovery receives 100% of the funds raised by their golfers. \nWhat is required to participate?  \n\n$3\,000 per individual golfer\n$1\,500 per junior golfer (25 years old & under)\n\nGolf Fights Cancer covers all expenses related to the event – including cost of golf\, donation transaction fees\, food & beverage\, registration gifts & prizes\nGolf Fights Cancer provides all golfers with a fundraising page and resources to support their crowdfunding efforts – including an event newsletter and individual coaching\n\n\n\nWho Plays?  \n\nGolfers of all skill levels – from those who play only a few times a season to scratch golfers\nGolfers of all ages – over the years participants have ranged from elementary school aged through retirees\nGolfers who have been impacted by cancer\, either personally or through a family member/friend\, and are\npassionate about making a difference\n\nHow can you play 100 holes in one day? \n\nThis is not a day to shoot a personal best\, in fact\, golfers will not be keeping score\nHoles aren’t necessarily played in sequence.
