DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special Rally for Runway ride at SoulCycle Georgetown\, hosted by Runway for Recovery Model and George Washington University senior Charlotte Goodman\, alongside Runway for Recovery Young Professional Advisory Board member Nya Gavin. \nRunway for Recovery has been part of Charlotte’s family for years. Her mom\, Liz Silverman\, is a breast cancer survivor and longtime Runway Model\, and Charlotte grew up seeing firsthand the power of a community that shows up for families impacted by breast cancer. Now\, during her senior year at GW\, she is bringing that community to Washington\, DC. \nCharlotte will be joined by Nya Gavin\, who also grew up on the Runway. Nya modeled alongside her mother\, Crystal Davis\, and witnessed the incredible strength her mother showed throughout her breast cancer diagnosis. \nTogether\, Charlotte and Nya represent the next generation of Runway for Recovery—young women who grew up surrounded by this community and are now finding their own ways to carry its mission forward. \nOn Saturday\, October 24\, we’ll fill the SoulCycle Georgetown studio for an inspirational ride with a purpose. Together\, we’ll move\, celebrate survivors\, honor those we love\, and raise critical funds for families navigating the realities of breast cancer. \nGrab a bike\, bring a friend\, and Rally with Charlotte\, Nya\, and the DC community. DESCRIPTION:Rally with Tread on Sunday\, October 25 for a full day of movement\, strength\, community\, and giving back in support of Runway for Recovery. \nTread was founded by Lori Haverty around a simple but powerful belief: “We can do hard things.” It is a mission that extends far beyond a workout and into the community Lori and her team have built — one that shows up for one another when life gets hard. That spirit is exactly what inspired Lori to bring Rally for Runway to Tread. \nOn October 25\, Tread on East will turn both of its fitness rooms into a full-day Rally for Runway\, with donation-based classes including two PRESS all-strength classes\, Pilates\, and multiple cycle/spin classes. All proceeds will support Runway for Recovery. \nThe day will extend beyond the workouts\, too. Lori is inviting local women-owned businesses to pop up at Tread\, shop\, give back\, and help create a true community event centered around movement\, connection\, and supporting families. \nFunds raised will help Runway for Recovery provide financial assistance\, resources\, and community to families navigating metastatic breast cancer and loss. \nSunday\, October 25Tread on East29 East Street\, Winchester\, MA \nClass sign-ups open Monday\, October 19. \nCome take a class.
