DESCRIPTION:Tickets \nJoin Runway for Recovery and Gold Coast Mahjong Club for an elevated evening of mahjong\, community\, and purpose as we kick off Runway’s 20th Anniversary Celebration this October. Hosted at Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord—the home of our very first Runway Show in 2007—this special event brings together experienced players for an evening of open play\, prizes\, and meaningful fundraising in support of families navigating breast cancer and loss. \nWe are especially grateful to have current Runway for Recovery Board Member\, Legacy Model\, and longtime supporter Rachael Asselin\, along with her dear friend and longtime Runway guest Jamie Ring\, serving as co-hosts for this memorable evening. Together\, we’ll celebrate two decades of impact while helping ensure more families receive the financial and emotional support they need when facing breast cancer. \nGuests will enjoy an evening that starts with cocktails\, light bites\, and shopping\, followed by structured open play at tables of four. Throughout the night\, players can win prizes\, enter raffles\, and support Runway’s Family Grant Program through our signature “fund a family” board and other playful fundraising moments. Gold Coast will provide all mahjong sets and table setup\, along with a curated selection of mahjong-themed merchandise\, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Runway for Recovery. \nThis is not a teaching event; play is designed for intermediate and experienced mahjong players who are comfortable with open play in a social setting. \nTickets go on Sale on July 15 \nEvent Details \n\nDate: Wednesday\, October 7\nTime: 6:00–9:00 PM\n\n6:00–7:00 PM – Check-in\, cocktails\, light bites\, and shopping\n7:00–9:00 PM – Mahjong open play (starts promptly at 7:00 PM)\n\n\nFormat: Tables of four\, open play (no instruction provided)\nTickets:\n\nTable of 4: $500 (one person purchases and invites guests)\nLimited individual tickets are be available for $125/ea\n\n\n\nYour ticket includes event entry\, light food\, and one drink ticket; additional drink and raffle tickets will be available for purchase\, with proceeds supporting Runway for Recovery’s work. \nCome play\, connect\, and help us launch October with a joyful night that honors community\, competition\, and care.

We also made the intentional decision to expand the diversity of our Runway\, creating space for voices and experiences that have too often been underrepresented. We are honored to welcome more women of color to this year’s class and are committed to building a Runway that more fully reflects the community we serve—for our 20th Anniversary and for generations to come. Together\, these 125 individuals each bring a story of courage\, hope\, love\, and perseverance. \n  \nFor one unforgettable evening\, more than 1\,000 guests will come together to honor survivors\, remember loved ones\, and celebrate twenty years of Runway for Recovery. This year\, we intentionally reduced ticket prices to make the evening more accessible and inclusive\, ensuring that more families\, friends\, and supporters can experience the magic of the Runway. As a result\, ticket sales are designed to cover the cost of hosting this extraordinary event at The Westin Boston Seaport District. \n  \nThe true impact of the evening comes through philanthropy.
