DESCRIPTION:On October 22\, St. John’s Prep and Xaverian Brothers will take the field for their 5th annual Play for Runway soccer game. \nWhat started in 2022 has become an incredible tradition between these two school communities. The first game was brought to life by St. John’s Prep alum Tyler Schwalm\, who saw an opportunity to turn the energy surrounding this matchup into something bigger. Today\, Tyler continues his commitment to Runway as a member of our Young Professional Advisory Board. \nFive years later\, the impact continues to grow. Together\, St. John’s Prep and Xaverian Brothers have raised more than $20\,000 for Runway for Recovery since 2022. Each year\, student-athletes\, coaches\, families\, and friends from both schools come together to see how much more they can do for Runway families. \nThis year\, the competition continues off the field\, too. Choose your team below\, make a gift\, and help St. John’s Prep or Xaverian Brothers reach their fundraising goal! \nRunway for Recovery provides meaningful financial and emotional support to families navigating metastatic breast cancer and the loss of a parent. DESCRIPTION:On October 22\, Shrewsbury Middle School Football will take the field for their 5th annual Play for Runway game in honor of longtime Runway model and Boston Runway Show Co-Chair Kristin Ferrari. \nInspired by Kristin and her experience with breast cancer\, the Shrewsbury community has been Playing for Runway for five years. In that time\, they have raised an incredible $5\,761.72 to support Runway for Recovery’s work with families navigating metastatic breast cancer and loss. \nPlay for Runway brings athletes and communities together to celebrate and honor those impacted by breast cancer while raising critical funds for Runway’s family-centered programs\, including direct financial assistance for families navigating a metastatic breast cancer diagnosis or the loss of a parent to the disease. \nOn October 22\, these players will once again take the field for Kristin\, for the families we serve\, and for Runway. \nSupport Shrewsbury Football
