DESCRIPTION:Love for Runway Nantucket \nAfter a morning of movement and community at Rally for Runway\, Forme Barre\, continue the celebration with Love for Runway Nantucket\, a special island-wide shopping event benefiting Runway for Recovery. \nThroughout the day\, Nantucket residents and visitors are invited to shop local\, enjoy complimentary refreshments at participating businesses\, and support families facing metastatic breast cancer and families grieving the loss of a loved one. A portion of sales from participating retailers will be donated to Runway for Recovery\, helping provide direct financial assistance\, family-centered programming\, and meaningful support during life’s most challenging moments. \nLast year\, the Nantucket community came together to raise more than $10\,000 through Love & Rally for Runway\, demonstrating the extraordinary generosity and heart that make this island so special. We are excited to build on that momentum and make an even greater impact this year. \nWe are thrilled to announce that Alice Walk\, Grace Geier Designs\, Sara Campbell\, and REMY will once again be participating in Love for Runway Nantucket\, with additional participating businesses to be announced in the coming weeks. \nTogether\, we can shop with purpose\, support local businesses\, and show families facing metastatic breast cancer and loss that they are not alone. \nNo tickets are required to participate—simply visit the participating businesses throughout the day\, enjoy a few refreshments\, and shop knowing that 15% of your purchase will be donated back to Runway for Recovery. \nDonate \n*Would you like to be a participating business? SUMMARY:Play for Runway: The Rivers School\, Volleyball
DESCRIPTION:The Rivers School is back for its second year of Play for Runway—and this year\, they are going BIG! \nLed by students Quincy and Talia and the Rivers Cancer Awareness Club\, the school is bringing together its fall athletic teams for a series of Play for Runway games benefiting Runway for Recovery. Volleyball is kicking things off\, with teams across Rivers joining throughout the fall to raise funds and awareness for families impacted by breast cancer. \nAnd there’s a little friendly competition involved! Each participating Rivers team will have its own fundraising page\, with every dollar counting toward both the team’s total and the overall Rivers School campaign. At the end\, we’ll see which team can raise the most for Runway families. \nThe Rivers Volleyball Team will host its Play for Runway game on Friday\, September 18. The 11 athletes will take the court representing something bigger than the game: a school community coming together to support families navigating breast cancer. \nDonate to the Rivers Volleyball Team\, cheer them on\, and help them climb to the top of the Rivers Play for Runway leaderboard! \nEvery dollar raised supports Runway for Recovery and our work providing families impacted by breast cancer with meaningful financial and emotional support. \nPLAY for your team.
